Originally from the UK, Raw Tactics Records owner Tigs is a Melbourne based producer specializing in a unique blend of UKG, Grime and various strains of bass-heavy club music. With a solid background in the London underground scene. Tigs' productions carry echoes of early grime, the skippy 2 step beats of The Streets and a touch of Basement Jaxx eclecticism. Releases such as ‘Run The Riddim EP’ on Slime Recordings and most recently ‘Push Em Up’ on Highly Swung Records have garnered Tigs some serious attention. Releasing numerous singles on his own imprint ‘Raw Tactics Records’ and regularly showcasing his new productions on his monthly radio show on TRNSMT.tv, Tigs has gained support from the likes of Rinse Fm and Apple Music.
