Veludo

VELUDO erupted onto the Aussie music scene during the fiery big bang of 2014, and, after garnering international attention in its conception, things changed forever with the launch of the self-titled debut EP. Australia’s most highly circulated newspaper, the Sunday Herald Sun, gave it 4 stars, and a musical movement was in motion. Mixed by the legendary, Grammy-award winning producer, Tim Palmer (David Bowie, Pearl Jam, U2, Bon Jovi), produced by ARIA-award winning Jimi Maroudas (Eskimo Joe, Kimbra), and recorded at the world class Sing Sing Studios, this dynamic combination compliments the organic, authentic feel of Veludo’s message. Former drummer of The Living End, Travis Demsey, came out of retirement as a drum technician to be a part of the recording, and James Reid, front man of NZ’s premier band The Feelers, dropped in to lay down some guest vocals and co-wrote one of the tracks.
