Ezekiel James Hampton grew up in Vacaville, CA with an eclectic taste in music and a desire to write and perform at an early age. Not satisfied working in only one particular genre, Ezekiel has released projects under different monikers with the launch of Rad Brown being his hip-hop debut. Unlike any other genre, hip-hop has allowed him the closest relationship to tangibility for sounds first heard in childhood. As a producer, he weaves intentionally selected samples together and binds them with original composition to form a musical mosaic reflective of his strong sense of nostalgia. Cinema, outdated pop culture, and a niche subculture contribute to his musical choices, which are greatly enhanced by working with emcees who have made their own mark in hip-hop.
