Sydney rapper The Tongue is a champion of Australian hip hop who has blazed a trail throughout his 15 year career that few could claim to match. From his beginnings as an unstoppable battle MC to his diverse discography (that includes collaborations with The Bag Raiders, Suffa (Hilltop Hoods), Ngaiire, Gift of Gab (Blackalicious), Thundamentals and Illy) this is an artist who never put any limits on his creativity. The Tongue’s lyrical ability allows him to explore any topic with wit and style; just listen to the inspirational vision of “Australian Dreaming” or the love-on-the-dancefloor energy of “You Got Me” or the pure rap bravado of “Rhymin”. With six releases to his name The Tongue has finally handpicked a “best of” compilation to help guide fans through the most important songs of his career. The collection is entitled “Blood Work” and will feature the new single “Joy” ft Inês, an uplifting anthem written in response to the challenges we all face in the pandemic era.
